Allison's growing portfolio includes regular blog and article publications both online and in print, audio documentaries, recording and performance reviews, on-location broadcasting both live and pre-taped, voice-over and narration, advertisement creation, and much more.

From September 2011 to July of 2012, Allison was a weekly freelance music columnist on CBC Radio Windsor's "Early Shift" program; presenting a five-minute interview based feature including a selected music track. Allison arranged, conducted and edited interview clips to include in each feature. Interview highlights included Samantha Martin, Oh Susanna, Elliott Brood, The Wooden Sky, Pat Robitaille, Michou, Manitoba Hal, David Francey, and David Essig. Allison continues to contribute to Windsor's CBC programming with occasional features and local arts highlights.
